Karkat stood up to the role of leader and was always trying to keep everyone from falling apart to win Sgrub, and took the blame on himself when things went wrong. Karkat is able to defuse the deadly 5x showdown combo, calm Gamzee down from his deadly rage, and constantly kept trying to unite the trolls, despite the differences in blood colour that stood in the way a lot. Examples of this can be seen when Karkat befriends Jack Noir and hatches a plan to bring down the black queen together, rather than trying to fight him as an enemy. The Blood aspect deals with unity, friendship and relationships “such as the word is used in “blood brothers"“. Heirs will likely hold a great deal of power over their aspect upon reaching god tier, being able to become it and manipulate it through themselves. John was also able to use the breeze to do the windy thing to help save himself and his land. Heirs are known for some degree of sacrifice, or passing their aspect onto others, such as how Mituna Captor sacrificed his power and sanity protecting his friends from disaster and how Equius also attempted to conceal Nepeta from Gamzee, passing his Void onto her. He also used his fistkind as a strife specibus, which is essentially the lack of a weapon, showing how he inherits the ability to fight with nothing, or, Void. Equius was the Heir of Void and was protected from Doc Scratch’s omniscience. Mituna Captor was the Heir of Doom, and inherited Doom by loosing his psychic power and sanity. Heirs are likely to be able to “inherit" or become their aspect, such as how John Egbert was able to turn into wisps of wind to escape Jack Noir.
By definition, an Heir is “A person who inherits or is entitled by law or by the terms of a will to inherit the estate of another”, suggesting the power they have is harnessed through themselves.
